It is always tough finding trendy, pretty plus-size clothing. So it is hard not to share when you stumble upon a plus-size fashion retailer that stocks amazing clothes. Elvi has pretty cardigans in bright colors, embroided party tops, and much more, including jewelry. Luckily they ship outside of the UK so ordering online is simple and easy. Their website is also pain free to navigate. Elvi organizes their clothing by garments and you can also browse by outfits. The “shop by outfit” option allows you to view the clothing by occasion. And this is all set up by Elvi’s designers. From looking through their best sellers you are provided with options including a buttery leather jacket, an amazing winter coat, and the perfect little black dress. Elvi also has the perfect basics that every girl needs in her closet. The well-fitting tank tops and t-shirts come in a variety of bright colors, which are not overly expensive. But besides the basics, Elvi also stocks dresses and tops with gorgeous patterns. This shows that anyone can wear patterns and prints, not just stick thin girls. My personal favorite pieces are the Paprika Long Cardigan, the Stretch Crepe Trouser, and the Cowl Neck Jumper. Elvi has plus size fashion for sizes 16 and up so make sure to check them out!

Fashion is everywhere...
I was walking to my boot camp workout yesterday when this window display caught my eye. It's for Artistic Tile in NYC. I think it's phenomenal, maybe we'll see something like it on the runway this Fashion Week coming up (Feb 11th-18th).
One window display showed female attire.
And the other window, very appropriately displayed male attire.
It's beautiful Art.

P.S. Thank you Bridgette for giving me this gift.
I would have called it Taupe Plus
But hey Chanel did not call me for my opinion.....LOL
Either way the result ends up being the same. This is a beautiful color nail polish.
Thank you Coco Chanel once again!!

Golden Globes 2010
Who watched the Golden Globes? I'm sure many of you tuned in to watch the red carpet fashion! I have picked a few of my personal favorites, though there were many dresses that I liked. I'm glad that even though the weather wasn't perfect the stars still came out wearing beautiful dresses.

Kristen Bell and Vanessa Hudgens both decided to pull of short dresses. And both of them pulled it off amazingly well. (Though Vanessa was there for the after-party). Kristen wore a Jasmine di Milo dress while Vanessa wore Alberta Ferretti.
Christina Aguilera looked stunning in a Versace gown with Nina Ricci and Webster jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch. Diane Kruger went with a bright Christian Lacroix gown, Raven Kauffman Couture clutch, and Chanel jewels.
Olivia Wilde wore a sparkly Gucci gown with Jimmy Choo heels, Tiffany & Co. jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch. Sandra Bullock pulled off a purple Bottega Venetta gown with Casadei pumps.
Zoe Saldana looked amazing in a Louis Vuitton dress, Brian Atwood pumps, and a Ferragamo clutch. Jennifer Garner wore a form-fitting Atelier Versace gown with Casadei pumps, Bulgari jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch.
Glee star Lea Michele wore a black Oscar de la Renta gown with Cloubs heels, Chopard jewels, and a Fendi clutch.
Chuck Taylor Knee High
I think that Converse is doing a great job in adapting to the market. This season knee high boots have been all the rage (I still haven't found an affordable pair that I love... Please send me links if you know of any under $160). Therefore, Converse came up with these....
I love them and they are only $65.

Launch My Line
First, I have to say that Bravo messed up when they let go of Project Runway. I'm not sure what they are doing over there at Lifetime, I don't get it. But, I have questions, lots of questions... I wasn't satisfied with the judges... AT ALL.
I can't wait to see what's going to happen in this new season that's coming up on Jan 14th, 2010.
NOW, about Launch My Line. We are now on episode 5 and it's looking like a decent show. I'm not sure about this "expert" and designer duo thing, but I guess it was necessary, I don't know, you guys tell me...Is it necessary to have the "experts"?

My favorite collection so far is Kathy's, she is the jewelry designer.
Challenge 5: To create an avant-garde outfit, while making sure the designers are pushing the boundaries of fashion without crossing the line of good taste.
Challenge 4: The designers are taken to an art gallery to look for inspiration from nude subjects to create asymmetrical eveningwear.
Challenge 3: Contestants get up close and personal with exotic animals to draw inspiration for their next garment.
Challenge 2: A daytime look using colors and silhouettes that will set the trends for the upcoming season
Challenge 1: Create a signature piece for your collection.
Enid P. What's your favorite designer?
I didn't know...
I did not know that Taboo (Jaime Gomex) from the Black Eyed Peas collaborated with the footwear brand Jump to launch a line of sneakers called TABOOXJUMP. I had to find out from read my People en Español magazine that I received yesterday. The sneakers retail at $298.00 and they are only sold in Saks Fifth Avenue store and. I could not find the collection in the Saks online website. The price?
I would love a female version of these. Q: Where would I wear them to? A: (TBD) to be determined.
What you think? It's going out sneakers!! I love them...

I received my February 2010 Harper's Bazaar US today and on my first quick flip through I found a pleasant surprise... a spread with my all time favorite super model Arlenis Sosa.
This girl has something that can not bought, and that is Charisma, with a capital C. I met her, she's gorgeous inside and out... I love to see her work (like the David Yurman campaign).
I think this spread is phenomenal, but I may be biased so enjoy and let me know what you think.
P.S. The picture in the right hand side is Arlenis and I.
